Precautions for using smart furniture locks
Fingerprint furniture locks, as we all know, are characterized by their security and convenience! No need to carry keys when going out, because your finger is the key. Therefore, more and more people are using fingerprint locks. However, improper use or maintenance during the use of fingerprint locks can greatly shorten their service life. So, how should we maintain fingerprint furniture locks in daily life?
1. When taking a fingerprint, apply moderate pressure to your finger. If the fingerprint cannot be captured, do not apply excessive pressure. This may be because your fingerprint is too dry. Try blowing some breath on your finger to make it a little wetter.
2. Due to prolonged use, the surface of the fingerprint sensor may become dirty, which may affect normal operation. In this case, a soft cloth can be used for wiping.
3. The fingerprint lock panel must not come into contact with corrosive substances, otherwise the surface coating will be damaged, and your fingerprint lock may be corroded.
4. Please do not apply excessive pressure or knock.
5. Do not collide or knock the casing with hard objects to prevent damage to the surface coating or indirectly affect the internal electronics of the fingerprint lock.
6. Please do not use substances containing alcohol, gasoline, diluent, or other flammable substances to clean or maintain this lock.
7. Waterproof protection. Fingerprint furniture locks are electronic products. Although some manufacturers have implemented waterproof protection, it is advisable to avoid contact with water or other liquids, or immersing them in water or other liquids.
